Our Story
Founded by multi-discipline electrician Rene Hernadez to provide a higher standard of workmanship in the solar industry, Bay Solar & Electrical has grown into a trusted delivery partner for some of Australia’s leading energy companies.
With more than six years dedicated exclusively to commercial and large-scale solar, we’ve developed a proven process that combines expert project management, advanced technical capability and genuine accountability.

Accreditations and Standards
Bay Solar & Electrical holds full NSW electrical contracting licences and operates in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards for the solar, battery and electrical industries.
All our electricians are Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) certified. They are committed to continual improvement through CPD training, performance auditing and safety reviews.
Our systems and work practices reflect the highest levels of compliance, including WHS management, grid connection requirements and manufacturer best practice. We adhere to the Clean Energy Council and Smart Energy Council Codes of Conduct.
Major Clients
Bay Solar & Electrical primarily operates as a solar installation partner to industry-leading energy retailer, EnergyAustralia. We also install for some of Australia’s largest commercial solar retailers.
We have previously specialised in project delivery for Origin Energy across numerous commercial and industrial sites, and for Echo Group Australia, a leading energy efficiency provider for the business sector. The latter has now merged with EnergyAustralia and we enjoy a continued productive relationship with their teams.
